These resources have been specifically created to bring John Clare to life in our modern world, enabling students to be able to connect our world with his and his works. Using the natural landscape of the John Clare Countryside, we can get hands on with nature in a way that is not always possible in our urban environments.
Use these lesson plans and resources to find out who John Clare was, why his works are important to us today and to walk in his footsteps, learning from those who have come before us. We hope this leads to more time being spent outdoors both within school and out of school as families and individuals which can be counted towards the John Clare Award.
